Teen Grief

The teenage years are a time of physical, emotional and developmental leaps. Social patterns, language and dialogue begin shifting to prepare for adulthood, and it can be exciting and wonderful and terrifying and horrible. Adding the experience of death and grief to the mix can be especially disruptive and confusing for teens. Rather than packing it away, our Teen Grief Care Package helps teens honour their loss and heartbreak, and helps them enter into an open, healthy conversation with their grief. And our hope is that it brings some real comfort, encouragement, and helpful guidance to the grief journey experienced by a young person.

The Teen Grief Care Package Includes:

• A copy of How To Carry What Can't Be Fixed by Megan Devine: An illustrated journal for meeting grief with honesty and kindness. This workbook contains no clichés, timetables, or checklists of stages to get through. Instead it’s an everyday companion to help guide a journey that belongs to only you, and to live into the life you didn’t ask for–but is here nonetheless.
